Vapor Intrusion Detection and Monitoring

Indoor occupants breathing harmful vapors migrating from underground contamination is a national problem, causing many states to enact new environmental regulations. Contaminated property owners are increasingly at risk of injury/liability lawsuits.

There IS help. LCA’s principals own a sister company, PerTect Detectors, Inc., that holds three U.S. patents on a proprietary vapor detection and monitoring system. Invented for early-warning against perc leaks at drycleaners, the system works for most common vapors (e.g., gasoline, methane) and is designed to retrofit existing buildings.  The system will determine the severity of vapor intrusion by simultaneously documenting the vapor concentrations inside a building versus beneath.
