LCA provides HAZWOPR-trained and experienced environmental technicians and field scientists, engineers and geologists to monitor construction activities in contaminated zones.Responsibilities may include such activities as field-screening with portable instruments for contamination of excavated soil, sampling of soil and groundwater for confirmation of contamination, monitoring breathing zone air for volatile organic compounds or toxic vapors, supervision of waste stockpiling, waste characterization for disposal, etc.
